Update of October 30 Regarding COVID-19 Infection
The number of COVID-19 infected people has reached 812,194 after additional 297 new cases were detected positive in Nepal on October 30, 2021. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 791,296 of the total infected have recovered, and the recovery rate has reached 97.4% along with 911 latest recovered.
According to the Ministry, 5,316 swab tests were conducted in the past 24 hours. Out of the total number of tests conducted on October 30, 7% were diagnosed positive and overall there were 18.4% people diagnosed positive till now.
Till now, the death toll has reached 11,399. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 11 people died on October 30. There are 9,526 people in home isolation. Kathmandu, Lalitpur, Bhaktapur and Kaski have more than 500 active cases.
On October 30, 2,595 people were tested through the antigen process among which 75 were diagnosed positive with COVID-19. Till date, 94,503 people have been diagnosed positive with antigen process. The number of infected, cured, and active cases has not been separated into this number. According to the Ministry, 7,152,039 people have been fully vaccinated till October 30.
