Update of October 26 Regarding COVID-19 Infection
The number of COVID-19 infected people have reached 159,830 after additional 1,741 new cases were detected positive in Nepal on October 26, 2020. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 115,675 have been discharged after recovery. On October 26, the rate of recovery reached 72.4% along with the 4,005 latest discharged after treatment. The ministry reported that 43,293 people are being treated. Out of which, 32,607 are in home isolation, 285 are being treated in ICU and 64 are being treated with the support of the ventilators. Till now, the death toll has reached 862. According to the Ministry, 5,006 number of swabs tests were conducted in the past 24 hours.
