Update of October 25 Regarding COVID-19 Infection

The number of COVID-19 infected people has reached 809,729 after additional 673 new cases were detected positive in Nepal on October 25, 2021. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 788,008 of the total infected have recovered, and the recovery rate has reached 97.3% along with 501 latest recovered.

According to the Ministry, 8,284 swab tests were conducted in the past 24 hours. Out of the total number of tests conducted on October 25, 8% were diagnosed positive and overall there were 18.5% people diagnosed positive till now.

Till now, the death toll has reached 11,361. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 13 people died on October 25. There are 10,360 people in home isolation. Kathmandu, Lalitpur, Bhaktapur and Kaski have more than 500 active cases.

On October 25, 2,580 people were tested through the antigen process among which 103 were diagnosed positive with COVID-19. Till date, 94,118 people have been diagnosed positive with antigen process. The number of infected, cured, and active cases has not been separated into this number. According to the Ministry, 6,647,322 people have been fully vaccinated till October 25.
