Update of October 11 Regarding COVID-19 Infection

The number of COVID-19 infected people has reached 802,861 after additional 663 new cases were detected positive in Nepal on October 11, 2021. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 776,831 of the total infected have recovered, and the recovery rate has reached 96.8% along with 888 latest recovered.

According to the Ministry, 7,233 swab tests were conducted in the past 24 hours. Out of the total number of tests conducted on October 11, 9% were diagnosed positive and overall there were 18.7% people diagnosed positive till now.

Till now, the death toll has reached 11,243. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 12 people died on October 11. There are 14,787 people in home isolation. Morang, Sunsari, Kathmandu, Lalitpur, Bhaktapur, Kaski, and Rupandehi have more than 500 active cases.

On October 11, 4,962 people were tested through the antigen process among which 122 were diagnosed positive with COVID-19. Till date, 93,116 people have been diagnosed positive with antigen process. The number of infected, cured, and active cases has not been separated into this number. According to the Ministry, 6,462,776 people have been fully vaccinated till October 11.
