Update of November 29 Regarding COVID-19 Infection
The number of COVID-19 infected people has reached 821,121 after additional 243 new cases were detected positive in Nepal on November 29, 2021. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 802,653 of the total infected have recovered, and the recovery rate has reached 97.7% along with 264 latest recovered.
According to the Ministry, 7,231 swab tests were conducted in the past 24 hours. Out of the total number of tests conducted on November 29, 3% were diagnosed positive and overall there were 17.8% people diagnosed positive till now.
Till now, the death toll has reached 11,524. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, one person died on November 29. There are 6,944 people in home isolation. Kathmandu and Lalitpur have more than 500 active cases.
On November 29, 2,657 people were tested through the antigen process among which four were diagnosed positive with COVID-19. Till date, 95,488 people have been diagnosed positive with antigen process. The number of infected, cured, and active cases has not been separated into this number. According to the Ministry, 8,382,994 people have been fully vaccinated till November 29.
