Update of November 28 Regarding COVID-19 Infection
The number of COVID-19 infected people has reached 820,878 after additional 154 new cases were detected positive in Nepal on November 28, 2021. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 802,389 of the total infected have recovered, and the recovery rate has reached 97.7% along with 342 latest recovered.
According to the Ministry, 6,604 swab tests were conducted in the past 24 hours. Out of the total number of tests conducted on November 28, 2% were diagnosed positive and overall there were 17.8% people diagnosed positive till now.
Till now, the death toll has reached 11,523. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, two people died on November 28. There are 6,966 people in home isolation. Kathmandu and Lalitpur have more than 500 active cases.
On November 28, 2,314 people were tested through the antigen process among which four were diagnosed positive with COVID-19. Till date, 95,472 people have been diagnosed positive with antigen process. The number of infected, cured, and active cases has not been separated into this number. According to the Ministry, 8,313,861 people have been fully vaccinated till November 28.
