Update of November 27 Regarding COVID-19 Infection
The number of COVID-19 infected people has reached 820,724 after additional 197 new cases were detected positive in Nepal on November 27, 2021. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 802,047 of the total infected have recovered, and the recovery rate has reached 97.7% along with 325 latest recovered.
According to the Ministry, 4,907 swab tests were conducted in the past 24 hours. Out of the total number of tests conducted on November 27, 4% were diagnosed positive and overall there were 17.8% people diagnosed positive till now.
Till now, the death toll has reached 11,521. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, three people died on November 27. There are 7,156 people in home isolation. Kathmandu and Lalitpur have more than 500 active cases.
On November 27, 1,725 people were tested through the antigen process among which 16 were diagnosed positive with COVID-19. Till date, 95,468 people have been diagnosed positive with antigen process. The number of infected, cured, and active cases has not been separated into this number. According to the Ministry, 8,290,402 people have been fully vaccinated till November 27.
