Update of November 26 Regarding COVID-19 Infection
The number of COVID-19 infected people has reached 820,527 after additional 242 new cases were detected positive in Nepal on November 26, 2021. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 801,722 of the total infected have recovered, and the recovery rate has reached 97.7% along with 302 latest recovered.
According to the Ministry, 7,829 swab tests were conducted in the past 24 hours. Out of the total number of tests conducted on November 26, 3% were diagnosed positive and overall there were 17.8% people diagnosed positive till now.
Till now, the death toll has reached 11,518. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, two people died on November 26. There are 7,287 people in home isolation. Kathmandu and Lalitpur have more than 500 active cases.
On November 26, 2,617 people were tested through the antigen process among which 28 were diagnosed positive with COVID-19. Till date, 95,452 people have been diagnosed positive with antigen process. The number of infected, cured, and active cases has not been separated into this number. According to the Ministry, 8,237,337 people have been fully vaccinated till November 26.
