Update of November 24 Regarding COVID-19 Infection

The number of COVID-19 infected people has reached 820,004 after additional 305 new cases were detected positive in Nepal on November 24, 2021. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 801,122 of the total infected have recovered, and the recovery rate has reached 97.7% along with 232 latest recovered.

According to the Ministry, 7,590 swab tests were conducted in the past 24 hours. Out of the total number of tests conducted on November 24, 4% were diagnosed positive and overall there were 17.9% people diagnosed positive till now.

Till now, the death toll has reached 11,513. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, nine people died on November 24. There are 7,369 people in home isolation. Kathmandu and Lalitpur have more than 500 active cases.

On November 24, 2,330 people were tested through the antigen process among which 27 were diagnosed positive with COVID-19. Till date, 95,397 people have been diagnosed positive with antigen process. The number of infected, cured, and active cases has not been separated into this number. According to the Ministry, 8,059,302 people have been fully vaccinated till November 24.
