Update of November 23 Regarding COVID-19 Infection

The number of COVID-19 infected people has reached 819,699 after additional 313 new cases were detected positive in Nepal on November 23, 2021. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 800,890 of the total infected have recovered, and the recovery rate has reached 97.7% along with 273 latest recovered.

According to the Ministry, 8,729 swab tests were conducted in the past 24 hours. Out of the total number of tests conducted on November 23, 4% were diagnosed positive and overall there were 17.9% people diagnosed positive till now.

Till now, the death toll has reached 11,509. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, nine people died on November 23. There are 7,300 people in home isolation. Kathmandu and Lalitpur have more than 500 active cases.

On November 23, 1,445 people were tested through the antigen process among which 38 were diagnosed positive with COVID-19. Till date, 95,370 people have been diagnosed positive with antigen process. The number of infected, cured, and active cases has not been separated into this number. According to the Ministry, 7,990,190 people have been fully vaccinated till November 23.
