Update of November 22 Regarding COVID-19 Infection
The number of COVID-19 infected people has reached 819,386 after additional 367 new cases were detected positive in Nepal on November 22, 2021. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 800,617 of the total infected have recovered, and the recovery rate has reached 97.7% along with 258 latest recovered.
According to the Ministry, 9,921 swab tests were conducted in the past 24 hours. Out of the total number of tests conducted on November 22, 4% were diagnosed positive and overall there were 17.9% people diagnosed positive till now.
Till now, the death toll has reached 11,500. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, four people died on November 22. There are 7,269 people in home isolation. Kathmandu and Lalitpur have more than 500 active cases.
On November 22, 2,776 people were tested through the antigen process among which 18 were diagnosed positive with COVID-19. Till date, 95,332 people have been diagnosed positive with antigen process. The number of infected, cured, and active cases has not been separated into this number. According to the Ministry, 7,952,386 people have been fully vaccinated till November 22.
