Update of November 21 Regarding COVID-19 Infection

The number of COVID-19 infected people has reached 819,019 after additional 232 new cases were detected positive in Nepal on November 21, 2021. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 800,359 of the total infected have recovered, and the recovery rate has reached 97.7% along with 370 latest recovered.

According to the Ministry, 7,845 swab tests were conducted in the past 24 hours. Out of the total number of tests conducted on November 21, 5% were diagnosed positive and overall there were 18% people diagnosed positive till now.

Till now, the death toll has reached 11,496. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, one person died on November 21. There are 7,164 people in home isolation. Lalitpur have more than 500 active cases.

On November 21, 1,278 people were tested through the antigen process among which six were diagnosed positive with COVID-19. Till date, 95,314 people have been diagnosed positive with antigen process. The number of infected, cured, and active cases has not been separated into this number. According to the Ministry, 7,906,369 people have been fully vaccinated till November 21.
