Update of November 20 Regarding COVID-19 Infection

The number of COVID-19 infected people has reached 818,787 after additional 209 new cases were detected positive in Nepal on November 20, 2021. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 799,989 of the total infected have recovered, and the recovery rate has reached 97.7% along with 369 latest recovered.

According to the Ministry, 4,145 swab tests were conducted in the past 24 hours. Out of the total number of tests conducted on November 20, 5% were diagnosed positive and overall there were 18% people diagnosed positive till now.

Till now, the death toll has reached 11,495. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, one person died on November 20. There are 7,303 people in home isolation. Kathmandu and Lalitpur have more than 500 active cases.

On November 20, 2,991 people were tested through the antigen process among which 33 were diagnosed positive with COVID-19. Till date, 95,308 people have been diagnosed positive with antigen process. The number of infected, cured, and active cases has not been separated into this number. According to the Ministry, 7,876,703 people have been fully vaccinated till November 20.
