Update of November 19 Regarding COVID-19 Infection
The number of COVID-19 infected people has reached 818,578 after additional 271 new cases were detected positive in Nepal on November 19, 2021. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 799,545 of the total infected have recovered, and the recovery rate has reached 97.7% along with 369 latest recovered.
According to the Ministry, 7,777 swab tests were conducted in the past 24 hours. Out of the total number of tests conducted on November 19, 3% were diagnosed positive and overall there were 18% people diagnosed positive till now.
Till now, the death toll has reached 11,494. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, five people died on November 19. There are 7,539 people in home isolation. Kathmandu and Lalitpur have more than 500 active cases.
On November 19, 1,795 people were tested through the antigen process among which 25 were diagnosed positive with COVID-19. Till date, 95,275 people have been diagnosed positive with antigen process. The number of infected, cured, and active cases has not been separated into this number. According to the Ministry, 7,810,506 people have been fully vaccinated till November 19.
