Update of November 18 Regarding COVID-19 Infection

The number of COVID-19 infected people has reached 818,307 after additional 272 new cases were detected positive in Nepal on November 18, 2021. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 799,176 of the total infected have recovered, and the recovery rate has reached 97.7% along with 260 latest recovered.

According to the Ministry, 7,863 swab tests were conducted in the past 24 hours. Out of the total number of tests conducted on November 18, 3% were diagnosed positive and overall there were 18% people diagnosed positive till now.

Till now, the death toll has reached 11,489. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, six people died on November 18. There are 7,642 people in home isolation. Kathmandu and Lalitpur have more than 500 active cases.

On November 18, 3,288 people were tested through the antigen process among which 27 were diagnosed positive with COVID-19. Till date, 95,250 people have been diagnosed positive with antigen process. The number of infected, cured, and active cases has not been separated into this number. According to the Ministry, 7,713,409 people have been fully vaccinated till November 18.
