Update of November 17 Regarding COVID-19 Infection
The number of COVID-19 infected people has reached 211,475 after additional 502 new cases were detected positive in Nepal on November 17, 2020. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 179,242 have been discharged after recovery. On November 17, the rate of recovery reached 84.8% along with the 2,878 latest discharged after treatment. The ministry reported that 30,986 people are being treated. Out of which, 28,207 are in home isolation, 318 are being treated in ICU, and 38 are being treated with the support of the ventilators. Till now, the death toll has reached 1,247. According to the Ministry, 3,112 number of swabs tests were conducted in the past 24 hours.
