Update of November 12 Regarding COVID-19 Infection

The number of COVID-19 infected people has reached 816,415 after additional 355 new cases were detected positive in Nepal on November 12, 2021. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 797,448 of the total infected have recovered, and the recovery rate has reached 97.7% along with 689 latest recovered.

According to the Ministry, 9,134 swab tests were conducted in the past 24 hours. Out of the total number of tests conducted on November 12, 4% were diagnosed positive and overall there were 18.2% people diagnosed positive till now.

Till now, the death toll has reached 11,469. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, three people died on November 12. There are 7,498 people in home isolation. Kathmandu has more than 500 active cases.

On November 12, 1,932 people were tested through the antigen process among which 47 were diagnosed positive with COVID-19. Till date, 95,037 people have been diagnosed positive with antigen process. The number of infected, cured, and active cases has not been separated into this number. According to the Ministry, 7,520,034 people have been fully vaccinated till November 12.
