Update of November 1 Regarding COVID-19 Infection

The number of COVID-19 infected people has reached 813,011 after additional 441 new cases were detected positive in Nepal on November 1, 2021. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 792,277 of the total infected have recovered, and the recovery rate has reached 97.4% along with 490 latest recovered.

According to the Ministry, 7,468 swab tests were conducted in the past 24 hours. Out of the total number of tests conducted on November 1, 6% were diagnosed positive and overall there were 18.4% people diagnosed positive till now.

Till now, the death toll has reached 11,416. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, nine people died on November 1. There are 9,318 people in home isolation. Kathmandu, Lalitpur, Bhaktapur and Kaski have more than 500 active cases.

On November 1, 4,196 people were tested through the antigen process among which 92 were diagnosed positive with COVID-19. Till date, 94,627 people have been diagnosed positive with antigen process. The number of infected, cured, and active cases has not been separated into this number. According to the Ministry, 7,253,285 people have been fully vaccinated till November 1.
