Update of May 7 Regarding COVID-19 Infection
The number of COVID-19 infected people has reached 978,925 after additional 11 new cases were detected positive in Nepal on May 7, 2022. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 966,768 of the total infected have recovered, and the recovery rate has reached 98.8% along with 21 latest recovered. There are 205 active infected cases at present.
According to the Ministry, 1,420 swab tests were conducted in the past 24 hours. Till now, the death toll has reached 11,952. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, no death was recorded. On May 7, 1,296 people were tested through the antigen process and three were diagnosed positive with COVID-19. Till date, 140,201 people have been diagnosed positive with the antigen method. The number of infected, cured, and active cases has not been separated in this data. Till May 7, 19,625,334 people have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
