Update of May 4 Regarding COVID-19 Infection
The number of COVID-19 infected people has reached 978,884 after additional 19 new cases were detected positive in Nepal on May 4, 2022. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 966,715 of the total infected have recovered, and the recovery rate has reached 98.8% along with 18 latest recovered. There are 217 active infected cases at present.
According to the Ministry, 2,373 swab tests were conducted in the past 24 hours. Till now, the death toll has reached 11,952. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, one death was recorded. On May 4, 1,448 people were tested through the antigen process and no one was diagnosed positive with COVID-19. Till date, 140,196 people have been diagnosed positive with the antigen method. The number of infected, cured, and active cases has not been separated in this data. Till May 4, 19,625,334 people have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
