Update of May 30 Regarding COVID-19 Infection
The number of COVID-19 infected people has reached 979,132 after additional five new cases were detected positive in Nepal on May 30, 2022. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 967,078 of the total infected have recovered, and the recovery rate has reached 98.8% along with the 13 latest recovered. There are 102 active infected cases at present.
According to the Ministry, 1,553 swab tests were conducted in the past 24 hours. Till now, the death toll has reached 11,952. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, no death was recorded. On May 30, 858 people were tested through the antigen process and one was diagnosed positive with COVID-19. Till date, 140,235 people have been diagnosed positive with the antigen method. The number of infected, cured, and active cases has not been separated in this data. Till May 30, 19,831,322 people have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
