Update of May 28 Regarding COVID-19 Infection
The number of COVID-19 infected people has reached 979,118 after additional five new cases were detected positive in Nepal on May 28, 2022. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 967,052 of the total infected have recovered, and the recovery rate has reached 98.8% along with the 15 latest recovered. There are 114 active infected cases at present.
According to the Ministry, 1,119 swab tests were conducted in the past 24 hours. Till now, the death toll has reached 11,952. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, no death was recorded. On May 28, 850 people were tested through the antigen process and three were diagnosed positive with COVID-19. Till date, 140,231 people have been diagnosed positive with the antigen method. The number of infected, cured, and active cases has not been separated in this data. Till May 28, 19,825,343 people have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
