Update of May 27 Regarding COVID-19 Infection
The number of COVID-19 infected people has reached 979,113 after additional eight new cases were detected positive in Nepal on May 27, 2022. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 967,037 of the total infected have recovered, and the recovery rate has reached 98.8% along with the 13 latest recovered. There are 124 active infected cases at present.
According to the Ministry, 2,238 swab tests were conducted in the past 24 hours. Till now, the death toll has reached 11,952. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, no death was recorded. On May 27, 1,149 people were tested through the antigen process and four were diagnosed positive with COVID-19. Till date, 140,228 people have been diagnosed positive with the antigen method. The number of infected, cured, and active cases has not been separated in this data. Till May 27, 19,804,863 people have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
