Update of March 8 Regarding COVID-19 Infection
The number of COVID-19 infected people has reached 274,810 after additional 89 new cases were detected positive in Nepal on March 8, 2020. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 270,927 of the total infected have recovered. On March 8, the rate of recovery reached 98.6% along with the 41 latest recovered. According to the Ministry, 4,399 swab tests were conducted in the past 24 hours. Till now, the death toll has reached 3,011. There are 872 in isolation.
