Update of March 31 Regarding COVID-19 Infection
The number of COVID-19 infected people has reached 978,426 after additional 24 new cases were detected positive in Nepal on March 31, 2022. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 965,394 of the total infected have recovered, and the recovery rate has reached 98.7% along with 89 latest recovered. There are 1,081 active infected cases at present.
According to the Ministry, 3,623 swab tests were conducted in the past 24 hours. Till now, the death toll has reached 11,951. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, there were no deaths recorded. On March 31, 1,328 people were tested through the antigen process among which 12 were diagnosed positive with COVID-19. Till date, 140,133 people have been diagnosed positive with the antigen method. The number of infected, cured, and active cases has not been separated in this data. Till March 31, 19,085,631 people have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
