Update of March 28 Regarding COVID-19 Infection
The number of COVID-19 infected people has reached 978,347 after additional 15 new cases were detected positive in Nepal on March 28, 2022. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 965,142 of the total infected have recovered, and the recovery rate has reached 98.6% along with 319 latest recovered. There are 1,254 active infected cases at present.
According to the Ministry, 5,152 swab tests were conducted in the past 24 hours. Till now, the death toll has reached 11,951. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, there were no deaths recorded. On March 28, 1,157 people were tested through the antigen process among which all were diagnosed negative with COVID-19. Till date, 140,135 people have been diagnosed positive with the antigen method. The number of infected, cured, and active cases has not been separated in this data. Till March 28, 18,987,229 people have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
