Update of March 26 Regarding COVID-19 Infection
The number of COVID-19 infected people has reached 978,317after additional eight new cases were detected positive in Nepal on March 26, 2022. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 964,608 of the total infected have recovered, and the recovery rate has reached 98.6% along with 210 latest recovered. There are 1,758 active infected cases at present.
According to the Ministry, 1,696 swab tests were conducted in the past 24 hours. Till now, the death toll has reached 11,951. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, there were no deaths recorded. On March 26, 959 people were tested through the antigen process among which all were diagnosed negative with COVID-19. Till date, 140,105 people have been diagnosed positive with the antigen method. The number of infected, cured, and active cases has not been separated in this data. Till March 26, 18,916,400 people have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
