Update of March 24 Regarding COVID-19 Infection
The number of COVID-19 infected people has reached 978,297 after additional 32 new cases were detected positive in Nepal on March 24, 2022. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 964,127 of the total infected have recovered, and the recovery rate has reached 98.6% along with 266 latest recovered. There are 2,219 active infected cases at present.
According to the Ministry, 3,881 swab tests were conducted in the past 24 hours. Till now, the death toll has reached 11,951. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, there were no deaths recorded. On March 24, 1,387 people were tested through the antigen process among which three were diagnosed positive with COVID-19. Till date, 140,099 people have been diagnosed positive with the antigen method. The number of infected, cured, and active cases has not been separated in this data. Till March 24, 18,852,979 people have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
