Update of March 23 Regarding COVID-19 Infection
The number of COVID-19 infected people has reached 978,265 after additional 34 new cases were detected positive in Nepal on March 23, 2022. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 963,861 of the total infected have recovered, and the recovery rate has reached 98.5% along with 269 latest recovered. There are 2,453 active infected cases at present.
According to the Ministry, 3,855 swab tests were conducted in the past 24 hours. Till now, the death toll has reached 11,951. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, there were no deaths recorded. On March 23, 1,521 people were tested through the antigen process among which four were diagnosed positive with COVID-19. Till date, 140,092 people have been diagnosed positive with the antigen method. The number of infected, cured, and active cases has not been separated in this data. Till March 23, 18,817,844 people have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
