Update of March 22 Regarding COVID-19 Infection
The number of COVID-19 infected people has reached 978,231 after additional 35 new cases were detected positive in Nepal on March 22, 2022. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 963,592 of the total infected have recovered, and the recovery rate has reached 98.5% along with 481 latest recovered. There are 2,688 active infected cases at present.
According to the Ministry, 4,495 swab tests were conducted in the past 24 hours. Till now, the death toll has reached 11,951. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, one person died today. On March 22, 2,099 people were tested through the antigen process among which nine were diagnosed positive with COVID-19. Till date, 140,092 people have been diagnosed positive with the antigen method. The number of infected, cured, and active cases has not been separated in this data. Till March 22, 18,770,559 people have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
