Update of March 21 Regarding COVID-19 Infection
The number of COVID-19 infected people has reached 978,196 after additional 41 new cases were detected positive in Nepal on March 21, 2022. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 963,111 of the total infected have recovered, and the recovery rate has reached 98.4% along with 147 latest recovered. There are 3,135 active infected cases at present. According to the Ministry, 2,978 swab tests were conducted in the past 24 hours.
Till now, the death toll has reached 11,950. On March 21, 1,774 people were tested through the antigen process among which four were diagnosed positive with COVID-19. Till date, 140,083 people have been diagnosed positive with the antigen method. The number of infected, cured, and active cases has not been separated in this data. Till March 21, 18,748,545 people have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
