Update of March 20 Regarding COVID-19 Infection
The number of COVID-19 infected people has reached 978,155 after additional 28 new cases were detected positive in Nepal on March 20, 2022. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 962,964 of the total infected have recovered, and the recovery rate has reached 98.4% along with 382 latest recovered. There are 3,241 active infected cases at present.
According to the Ministry, 2,798 swab tests were conducted in the past 24 hours. Till now, the death toll has reached 11,950. On March 20, 1,263 people were tested through the antigen process among which nine were diagnosed positive with COVID-19. Till date, 140,079 people have been diagnosed positive with the antigen method. The number of infected, cured, and active cases has not been separated in this data. Till March 20, 18,719,122 people have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
