Update of March 19 Regarding COVID-19 Infection
The number of COVID-19 infected people has reached 978,127 after additional eight new cases were detected positive in Nepal on March 19, 2022. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 962,582 of the total infected have recovered, and the recovery rate has reached 98.4% along with 409 latest recovered. There are 3,595 active infected cases at present.
According to the Ministry, 1,993 swab tests were conducted in the past 24 hours. Till now, the death toll has reached 11,950. On March 19, 2,550 people were tested through the antigen process among which nine were diagnosed positive with COVID-19. Till date, 140,070 people have been diagnosed positive with the antigen method. The number of infected, cured, and active cases has not been separated in this data. Till March 19, 18,703,726 people have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19
