Update of March 14 Regarding COVID-19 Infection
The number of COVID-19 infected people has reached 978,085 after additional 41 new cases were detected positive in Nepal on March 14, 2022. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 961,561 of the total infected have recovered, and the recovery rate has reached 98.3% along with 213 latest recovered. There are 4,574 active infected cases at present.
According to the Ministry, 4,790 swab tests were conducted in the past 24 hours. Out of the total number of tests conducted on March 14, 1% were diagnosed positive and overall there were 17.9% people diagnosed positive till now.
Till now, the death toll has reached 11,950. On March 14, 1,385 people were tested through the antigen process among which 41 were diagnosed positive with COVID-19. Till date, 140,017 people have been diagnosed positive with the antigen method. The number of infected, cured, and active cases has not been separated in this data. Till March 14, 18,594,712 people have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
