Update of March 12 Regarding COVID-19 Infection
The number of COVID-19 infected people has reached 977,878 after additional 30 new cases were detected positive in Nepal on March 12, 2022. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 960,878 of the total infected have recovered, and the recovery rate has reached 98.3% along with 192 latest recovered. There are 5,050 active infected cases at present.
According to the Ministry, 2,238 swab tests were conducted in the past 24 hours. Out of the total number of tests conducted on March 12, 1% were diagnosed positive and overall there were 17.9% people diagnosed positive till now.
Till now, the death toll has reached 11,950. On March 12, 2,824 people were tested through the antigen process among which 43 were diagnosed positive with COVID-19. Till date, 139,936 people have been diagnosed positive with the antigen method. The number of infected, cured, and active cases has not been separated in this data. Till March 12, 18,399,451 people have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
