Update of March 11 Regarding COVID-19 Infection

The number of COVID-19 infected people has reached 977,848 after additional 62 new cases were detected positive in Nepal on March 11, 2022. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 960,686 of the total infected have recovered, and the recovery rate has reached 98.2% along with 189 latest recovered. There are 5,212 active infected cases at present.

According to the Ministry, 5,607 swab tests were conducted in the past 24 hours. Out of the total number of tests conducted on March 11, 1% were diagnosed positive and overall there were 17.9% people diagnosed positive till now.

Till now, the death toll has reached 11,950. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 15 died on March 11. On March 11, 2,374 people were tested through the antigen process among which 35 were diagnosed positive with COVID-19. Till date, 139,893 people have been diagnosed positive with the antigen method. The number of infected, cured, and active cases has not been separated in this data. Till March 11, 18,352,121 people have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
