Update of June 5 Regarding COVID-19 Infection
The number of COVID-19 infected people has reached 979,199 after additional nine new cases were detected positive in Nepal on June 5, 2022. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 967,137 of the total infected have recovered, and the recovery rate has reached 98.8% along with the nine latest recovered. There are 110 active infected cases at present.
According to the Ministry, 1,579 swab tests were conducted in the past 24 hours. Till now, the death toll has reached 11,952. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, no death was recorded. On June 5, 1,055 people were tested through the antigen process and four were diagnosed positive with COVID-19. Till date, 140,261 people have been diagnosed positive with the antigen method. The number of infected, cured, and active cases has not been separated in this data. Till June 5, 19,919,340 people have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
