Update of June 29 Regarding COVID-19 Infection
The number of COVID-19 infected people has reached 979,658 after additional 51 new cases were detected positive in Nepal on June 29, 2022. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 967,445 of the total infected have recovered, and the recovery rate has reached 98.8% along with the 19 latest recovered. There are 261 active infected cases at present.
According to the Ministry, 1,008 swab tests were conducted in the past 24 hours. Till now, the death toll has reached 11,952. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, no death was recorded. On June 29, 612 people were tested through the antigen process and 11 were diagnosed positive with COVID-19. Till date, 140,454 people have been diagnosed positive with the antigen method. The number of infected, cured, and active cases has not been separated in this data. Till June 29, 20,288,137 people have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
