Update of June 26 Regarding COVID-19 Infection
The number of COVID-19 infected people has reached 632,326 after additional 1,174 new cases were detected positive in Nepal on June 26, 2021. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 581,327 of the total infected have recovered, and the recovery rate has reached 91.9% along with the 4,914 latest recovered.
According to the Ministry, 4,704 swab tests were conducted in the past 24 hours. Out of the total number of tests conducted on June 26, 25% were diagnosed positive and overall there were 19.1% people diagnosed positive till now. On June 26, 159 people below the age of 19 were diagnosed positive for COVID-19.
Till now, the death toll has reached 8,975. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 30 people died on June 24. There are 42,024 in isolation.
