Update of June 2 Regarding COVID-19 Infection
The number of COVID-19 infected people has reached 979,163 after additional eleven new cases were detected positive in Nepal on June 2, 2022. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 967,110 of the total infected have recovered, and the recovery rate has reached 98.8% along with the eight latest recovered. There are 101 active infected cases at present.
According to the Ministry, 1,413 swab tests were conducted in the past 24 hours. Till now, the death toll has reached 11,952. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, no death was recorded. On June 2, 962 people were tested through the antigen process and three diagnosed positive with COVID-19. Till date, 140,242 people have been diagnosed positive with the antigen method. The number of infected, cured, and active cases has not been separated in this data. Till June 2, 19,885,258 people have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
