Update of June 15 Regarding COVID-19 Infection
The number of COVID-19 infected people has reached 979,297 after additional 19 new cases were detected positive in Nepal on June 15, 2022. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 967,248 of the total infected have recovered, and the recovery rate has reached 98.8% along with the 15 latest recovered. There are 97 active infected cases at present.
According to the Ministry, 2,856 swab tests were conducted in the past 24 hours. Till now, the death toll has reached 11,952. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, no death was recorded. On June 15, 1,049 people were tested through the antigen process and six were diagnosed positive with COVID-19. Till date, 140,355 people have been diagnosed positive with the antigen method. The number of infected, cured, and active cases has not been separated in this data. Till June 15, 20,027,781 people have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
