Update of June 12 Regarding COVID-19 Infection
The number of COVID-19 infected people has reached 979,262 after additional 11 new cases were detected positive in Nepal on June 12, 2022. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 967,204 of the total infected have recovered, and the recovery rate has reached 98.8% along with the 12 latest recovered. There are 106 active infected cases at present.
According to the Ministry, 2,162 swab tests were conducted in the past 24 hours. Till now, the death toll has reached 11,952. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, no death was recorded. On June 12, 1,291 people were tested through the antigen process and eight were diagnosed positive with COVID-19. Till date, 140,338 people have been diagnosed positive with the antigen method. The number of infected, cured, and active cases has not been separated in this data. Till June 12, 19,981,665 people have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
