Update of July 8 regarding COVID-19 Infection
The number of COVID-19 infected people has reached 9,80,141 after 83 additional new case on July 8, 2022. According to the Ministry of Health and Population 9,67,625 of the total infected have recovered, and the recovery rate has reached 98.7% along with the 23 latest recovered. There are 564 active infected cases at present.
According to the Ministry, 1,061 swabs were collected for PCR tests in the past 24 hours. Till now, the death toll has reached 11,952 According to the Ministry of Health and Population, no death was recorded. On July 8, 1,093 people were tested through the antigen process and 15 were diagnosed positive with COVID-19. Till date, 1,40,592 people have been diagnosed positive with the antigen method. Till July 8, 203,89,451 people have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
