Update of July 3 Regarding COVID-19 Infection
The number of COVID-19 infected people has reached 979,801 after additional 39 new cases were detected positive in Nepal on July 3, 2022. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 967,516 of the total infected have recovered, and the recovery rate has reached 98.8% along with the 20 latest recovered. There are 333 active infected cases at present.
According to the Ministry, 1,162 swab tests were conducted in the past 24 hours. Till now, the death toll has reached 11,952. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, no death was recorded. On July 3, 958 people were tested through the antigen process and 14 were diagnosed positive with COVID-19. Till date, 140,513 people have been diagnosed positive with the antigen method. The number of infected, cured, and active cases has not been separated in this data. Till July 3, 20,352,238 people have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
