Update of July 29 regarding COVID-19 Infection
The number of COVID-19 infected people reached 985,808 after 391 additional new cases on July 29, 2022. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 969,488 of the total infected have recovered, and the recovery rate has reached 98.3% along with the 269 latest recovered. There are 4,356 active infected cases at present.
According to the Ministry, 2,474 swabs were collected for PCR tests in the past 24 hours. Till now, the death toll has reached 11,964 According to the Ministry of Health and Population, two deaths were recorded. On July 29, 1,808 people were tested through the antigen process and 186 were diagnosed positive with COVID-19. Till date, 142,363 people have been diagnosed positive with the antigen method. Till July 29, 20,569,375 people have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
