Update of July 28 regarding COVID-19 Infection
The number of COVID-19 infected people reached 985,417 after 524 additional new cases on July 28, 2022. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 969,219 of the total infected have recovered, and the recovery rate has reached 98.4% along with the 215 latest recovered. There are 4,236 active infected cases at present.
According to the Ministry, 2,541 swabs were collected for PCR tests in the past 24 hours. Till now, the death toll has reached 11,962 According to the Ministry of Health and Population, two deaths were recorded. On July 28, 2,484 people were tested through the antigen process and 186 were diagnosed positive with COVID-19. Till date, 142,177 people have been diagnosed positive with the antigen method. Till July 28, 20,560,086 people have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
