Update of July 23 regarding COVID-19 Infection
The number of COVID-19 infected people has reached 983,319 after 216 additional new cases on July 23, 2022. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 968,394 of the total infected have recovered, and the recovery rate has reached 98.5% along with the 86 latest recovered. There are 2,971 active infected cases at present.
According to the Ministry, 1,088 swabs were collected for PCR tests in the past 24 hours. Till now, the death toll has reached 11,954 According to the Ministry of Health and Population, no deaths were recorded. On July 23, 1,908 people were tested through the antigen process and 86 were diagnosed positive with COVID-19. Till date, 141,448 people have been diagnosed positive with the antigen method. Till July 23, 20,525,534 people have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
