Update of July 20 regarding COVID-19 Infection
The number of COVID-19 infected people has reached 982,402 after 340 additional new cases on July 20, 2022. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 968,172 of the total infected have recovered, and the recovery rate has reached 98.6% along with the 46 latest recovered. There are 2,276 active infected cases at present.
According to the Ministry, 2,562 swabs were collected for PCR tests in the past 24 hours. Till now, the death toll has reached 11,954 According to the Ministry of Health and Population, no death was recorded. On July 20, 1,419 people were tested through the antigen process and 51 were diagnosed positive with COVID-19. Till date, 141,139 people have been diagnosed positive with the antigen method. Till July 20, 20,497,954 people have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
