Update of July 2 Regarding COVID-19 Infection
The number of COVID-19 infected people has reached 979,762 after additional 331 new cases were detected positive in Nepal on July 2, 2022. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 967,496 of the total infected have recovered, and the recovery rate has reached 98.7% along with the 16 latest recovered. There are 314 active infected cases at present.
According to the Ministry, 1,201 swab tests were conducted in the past 24 hours. Till now, the death toll has reached 11,952. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, no death was recorded. On July 2, 1,266 people were tested through the antigen process and 11 were diagnosed positive with COVID-19. Till date, 140,499 people have been diagnosed positive with the antigen method. The number of infected, cured, and active cases has not been separated in this data. Till July 2, 20,350,049 people have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
