Update of July 18 regarding COVID-19 Infection
The number of COVID-19 infected people has reached 981,794 after 386 additional new cases on July 18, 2022. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 968,064 of the total infected have recovered, and the recovery rate has reached 98.6 along with the 159 latest recovered. There are 1,776 active infected cases at present.
According to the Ministry, 2,341 swabs were collected for PCR tests in the past 24 hours. Till now, the death toll has reached 11,954 According to the Ministry of Health and Population, one death was recorded. On July 18, 2,310 people were tested through the antigen process and 71 were diagnosed positive with COVID-19. Till date, 140,999 people have been diagnosed positive with the antigen method. Till July 18, 20,464,639 people have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
